The Elder Interviews were transferred into the Archives from the LSLIRC-TARR and IAA-TARR Program periodically.

Scope and content

The collection consists of Elder Interviews obtained and used by the Lesser Slave Lake Indian Regional Council Treaty and Aboriginal Rights Research (LSLIRC-TARR) Program over the course of their research into treaty rights. Please note the LSLIRC-TARR program did not conduct these interviews. Some interviews have been transcribed.

Materials pertaining to Treaty 8, Treaty 4, Treaty 6, and Treaty 10 with the majority relating to Treaty 8.
