The Lesser Slave Lake Indian Regional Council - Treaty Aboriginal Research (LSLIRC-TARR) Program was established in 1996 in Slave Lake, Alberta, with an additional office in High Prairie. It operates under the auspices of the Lesser Slave Lake Indian Regional Council (LSLIRC).

The program is a non-political research unit, providing Specific Claims research services to the LSLIRC First Nation members, and in special circumstances, to other First Nations as well. The mandate of the program is to employ professional researchers to document historical claims or grievances of First Nations against the Federal Government. Research services include archival, traditional land use studies, genealogy and Elder interviews.
